First thing first, I can't read the Japanese characters in this KitKat packaging. I just saw the pumpkin picture and I guessed this KitKat is pumpkin flavour. Well, we'll see.. The packaging is eye catching -- with some of Halloween stuffs like jack-o-lantern pumpkin, ghost, witch -- and also colorful.

There are 13 mini KitKat with cute packaging and also there are 4 or even 5 design of small packaging. I really love the design of this Pumpkin KitKat -- fun, funny, cute with the Halloween theme.

You can see the detail in picture above. Each contains 64 kcal. It tastes so yummy. I can taste the pumpkin flavour in the chocolate coating, also pumpkin-vanilla cream in the inside. It is sweet and perfect blending. I also can taste the milky chocolate.

The biggest part of ingredient is chocolate coating that contains sugar, milk, cocoa powder and also vegetable oil and fat. I should warn you, this product is so sweet. So, mostly sugar is major ingredient here (sugar in chocolate coating, sugar in cream and sugar in wafer). It is also mention pumpkin powder as one of the ingredient. The pumpkin taste is perfect for me, including its sweetness. I guess they put pumpkin powder in the cream filling and also in chocolate coating.

The color is also pastel yellow -- it is so pretty and represents 'pumpkin' taste. The yellow color comes from gardenia pigment. Gardenia is flower that has water soluble pigment (crocins, iridoids and flavonoid) which can be extracted for natural food coloring. It produces yellow and blue shade. (source: here)
Overall, I love this pumpkin KitKat. But, it's not healthy because of the sugar content. Well, eat one small packaging is not a sin, right? Who can resist KitKat, anyway. :)
